It’s here! It’s here!
My Stitch Fix was waiting on my porch when I got home from work today, and I was sooo excited to tear into that box!
As you read my review, keep in mind that I’m a Stitch Fix newbie, and not that great with photography (haha!).
Here’s what was in my Stitch Fix box!
Pricing and Styling Info
As a wife and mommy of two on a teacher’s budget, the first feature I looked for was the pricing sheet. As cute as some items may be…it can’t break the bank, and I can definitely say I was pleasantly surprised by the prices of the pieces I received! (Note: When completing your style profile, one of the questions specifically asks how much you typically spend on a variety of pieces..and they listened to me!) Also in my pricing and styling info was a card with outfit ideas for the pieces I received and a prepaid bag for sending back unwanted items.
Now…here comes my review!
Mateo Fringe Edge Infinity Scarf – Look by M – $34
This scarf is adorable, but a bit too chunky for me. If this scarf were a tad bit thinner, it would have most definitely been a keeper! I drink far too much coffee and bounce around way too much in my classroom during the day to have fuzzy and warm accessories! Status? Sending back.
Bary Boat Neck Pullover Sweater – Absolutely – $58
Wow! This was absolutely gorgeous! I loved the fit around my waist…it was actually slimming on my mommy pooch! However, it was a tad too snug in the chest. Status? Sending back, sadly.
Abrianna Longsleeve Knit Cardigan – 41 Hawthorn – $48
I am a cardigan weirdo. I love them. I wear cardigans with tons of outfits. This navy cardigan is LIGHTWEIGHT and wonderful! The length is perfect, the color is awesome, and I can definitely wear it with almost anything in my closet. Status? KEEPING THIS!!!
Kingston Crew Neck Top – Sweet Rain – $44
This tank top is adorable! Navy with white polka dots, fitted in the bust, and flowy in the tummy region. If only it didn’t have slits on the sides! Status: Sending back with some sadness 🙁
Jonathan Skinny Corduroy – Kut From The Kloth – $48
I am honestly really surprised with these pants. For the last 15 years, I’ve only bought jeans/pants from one store: American Eagle. No other pants or jeans fit remotely close to my liking. However, I think my Stitch Fix stylist might be on the right path! These skinny corduroy pants have just the right combination of stretch and structure. The rise is great. The color is beautiful! The corduroy material, though, is a tad too warm for me. Also, I think I may adjust my style profile to petite pants because they are about three inches too long! Status: Sending back.
So…there you have it! My first Stitch Fix is in the books!
In my original Stitch Fix post, I mentioned that the $20 stylist fee is applied as a credit to your order. So, it’s definitely worth your while to purchase at least one item from your Fix because your styling fee is only credited to your current order! And…if you decide to keep all 5 items, you receive a 25% discount on your order!
The checkout process couldn’t have been any easier. I simply accessed my Stitch Fix account, choose the items I wanted to keep and what I wanted to return, commented on each of the pieces, and checked out! Totally easy 🙂
I can’t wait to schedule another Stitch Fix!
