I don’t know about you, but when I attempt to price anything for resale…whether it be my clothes, my kids clothes, or anyone else’s, I have NO idea how what amount I should charge. Instead of thinking about getting rid of the excess products and making room in my cluttered closet, I think about what I paid for the product.
Here’s an example of my thought process when getting rid of a pair of my jeans. I have bought my jeans at American Eagle for over 10 years now, so I know the price, quality, etc.
Me: Wow! These jeans are in great shape. I could definitely get a good chunk of change out of this! I paid $39.99 for these jeans, so I should sell them for…$25? I only wore them a couple of times.
Reality: You’d probably sell these for $3 at a yard sale. Maybe. If you’re lucky.
Today, I stumbled upon an AWESOME pricing guide. Click here to check it out!
