After months of deliberation, and seeing the awesome outfits and accessories others receive in their Stitch Fix, I finally signed up!
Just in case you haven’t heard of Stitch Fix, here are the basics…
Create a style profile on Stitch Fix
This seriously took about 10 minutes, and it was fun! The style profile requires typical information…waist size, skirt size, etc., but is personalized at the same time. What areas do you love? What areas do you hate? How would you describe your style? Would you like to leave a note for your stylist? How much would you typically spend on outwear, pants, tops, shoes, or accessories? Seriously…I felt like I was talking to a personal shopper…like a digital Becky Brandon nee Bloomwood!! (Forgive my Confessions of a Shopaholic reference!!! Honestly, though have you read that series?!)
Schedule your Fix
This is the only part of the sign up experience I struggled with. How often do you want to receive a new Fix? Personally, I’d like to receive a Fix weekly…or daily…but my budget (and husband!) would most likely not approve! Since this is my first go with Stitch Fix, I scheduled my deliveries for once a month. If I change my mind, or stumble into a pile of money, I can always change the schedule.
How much does it cost?
Stitch Fix does not require a monthly membership fee, which is awesome, because I hate those. When your Fix is hand picked by your stylist, you are charged a $20 fee. That fee is then applied to your account as a credit for your ” Fix. Keep (and pay for) what you love and send back what you don’t. Stitch Fix provides a prepaid envelope for your returns. Easy!
Wait patiently for your Fix to arrive
I am struggling with this! I specifically scheduled my first Fix to arrive after payday…and I received a wonderful email over the weekend letting me know my Fix is on the way! I. Am. So. Excited.
Stay tuned for a review!!
